El Rio Community School is now located at 211 S. Avenue 20 in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood of Northeast Los Angeles. Our facilities include ample classroom space (18 classrooms, plus dedicated special education space, an art room, indoor play spaces plus a multipurpose room that is a combination cafeteria/gymnasium, and an outdoor courtyard with urban gardening space. Students will spend time at nearby Albion Riverside Park, where there are grassy fields, two playgrounds, and a gymnasium. Pictured below are our new building, where we will add our new sign very soon, typical classroom set-up at our school, plus the park spaces we will utilize. We are currently painting our new facility, and look forward to offering tours and posting more photos of our interior spaces later this month!
